The fifth Off the Page microplay is now available to watch on ?theguardian.com. DEVIL IN THE DETAIL is a dressing-room drama about the politics of fashion starring Pippa Bennett-Warner (Witness at the Royal Court), Lucy Ellinson (Grounded at the Gate Theatre) and Vanessa Kirby (A Streetcar Named Desire at the Young Vic). This microplay was written by Chloe Moss (The Gatekeeper, This Wide Night) and directed by Christopher Haydon (Grounded, Gate Theatre), after a conversation with Hadley Freeman.

In a production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre, Anders Lustgarten's Black Jesus receives its world premiere at the Finborough Theatre, playing for a four week season from tonight, 1 October 2013 (Press Night: Thursday, 3 October 2013 at 7.30pm). A sold-out workshop production of Black Jesus at the Harare International Festival of Arts, Zimbabwe, was described by the Guardian as 'a highlight of the festival'.

With a new leadership team of Gregory Doran, Artistic Director, and Catherine Mallyon, Executive Director, at the helm, the Royal Shakespeare Company returns to New York this spring with two productions, Julius Caesar and Matilda The Musical. Both began their lives at the RSC's Stratford-upon-Avon home and reflect the Company's continuing commitment to Shakespeare and the work of contemporary playwrights and theatre artists, as it celebrates one hundred years of touring work from Shakespeare's birthplace to the US.

Casting for Tiata Delights 08, the six new plays presented by the British African Theatre Company Tiata Fahodzi during their summer residency at the Almeida, includes Cathy Tyson, Ellen Thomas and Cyril Nri who are joined by Jenny Jules, last at the Almeida in The Homecoming, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Danny Sapani, who played alongside her in Big White Fog.
