On Saturday, September 29th, 2018, the one-of-a-kind music festival known as Brooklyn Comes Alive is taking over three beloved Williamsburg, Brooklyn neighborhood venues - Rough Trade, Music Hall of Williamsburg and Brooklyn Bowl. Aside from the powerhouse lineup encompassing members of Lettuce, The Disco Biscuits, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, The Meters, Turkuaz, Snarky Puppy and more, this year welcomes the addition of Jam Cruise's staple Jam Room, for its first-ever edition on land.

The Recording Academy has expanded its lineup for the 'GRAMMY Salute To Music Legends®,' an awards ceremony and live tribute concert celebrating the 2018 Special Merit Awards honorees on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Added to the lineup are four-time GRAMMY® winner Yolanda Adams, who will perform and honor Tony Agnello and Richard Factor, GRAMMY winner Gustavo Dudamel who will present to John Williams; violinist Anne Akiko Meyers, who will perform in tribute to Williams; and members of The Meters, including Joseph '?Zigaboo' Modeliste, Cyril Neville, Leo Nocentelli, and George Porter Jr. This year's Lifetime Achievement Award honorees are Hal Blaine, Neil Diamond, Emmylou Harris, Louis Jordan, The Meters, Queen, and Tina Turner. Additional Special Merit Awards honorees to be celebrated include Bill Graham, Seymour Stein, and Williams, who are this year's Trustees Award honorees, and Agnello and Factor, who are the Technical GRAMMY® Award recipients. The fourth annual Brooklyn Comes Alive is set to take place September 29th, 2018 across three of Williamsburg, Brooklyn's most prestigious venues - Brooklyn Bowl, Music Hall of Williamsburg and the latest addition, Rough Trade - making the latest installment a mere 6-block walking radius from one venue to the next. Once again, the 1-day festival promises to bring together over 50 artists in unique collaborative scenarios, while presenting the best all-star tribute sets and one-time-only super-groups on this side of the East River. Blackbird Presents is proud to announce iconic singer-songwriter Ryan Adams will perform with New Orleans' music royalty at Exile on Bourbon St., a once-in-a-lifetime concert event set to take place Saturday, May 5 at New Orleans' Saenger Theatre.

Both Zito - who resided in St. Louis for 32 years - and Johnson, who produced Zito's new album, are from the city famously known as the Gateway To The West. 'A double shot of St. Louis musical heritage,' is how Ruf Records' founder, Thomas Ruf, refers to this unique double-billing of Zito and Johnson. The City of New Orleans, one of America's most unique and diverse cities, celebrates its 300th Anniversary in 2018. To celebrate his hometown's tricentennial, its rich cultural heritage, and the bright future of its music, Trombone Shorty has handpicked an all-star line-up of Crescent City musicians to tour the nation as "Trombone Shorty's Voodoo Threauxdown."
