An industry presentation of RE-WIRE will be held on Thursday, May 9th at 3pm & 7pm in New York City. RE-WIRE is a new play written by Thomas and Judy Heath, under the direction of Karen Carpenter (Love, Loss & What I wore), and starring Geneva Carr (Hand to God, Bull) & Stephen Wallem (Nurse Jackie).

Ruth Carlin brings her show 'Kaleidoscope Eyes' to Pangea with the skilled hand of a true artist. Through her own poetry, original material and songs composed by Joni Mitchell, Craig Carnelia, Sting, Prince, Lionel Bart, Rupert Holmes and more, Carlin takes us on an entertaining and heartfelt journey filled with integrity, musicality, spirit, truth, courage, and hope. Carlin's show is like a kaleidoscope- the eclectic song choices act as bits of colored glass, shifted and shaped by Musical Director, Paul Greenwood and Director,Lina Koutrakos, offering a magical view into Carlin's world. 'Kaleidoscope Eyes' promises to show us something unique and exclusive to this honest singer and fresh storyteller.

New Musicals Inc. is proud to announce that three writing teams have been selected to participate in the 2019 New Voices Project, a musical theatre development program hosted by New Musicals Inc. in Los Angeles (with support from Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Entertainment), now in its seventh year.

Meadow Brook Theatre's 2019-2020 season has something for everyone with comedies, musicals, a drama and even a whodunit. A LOVELY LINEAGE, based on an original concept by Michael Sterling, captures the historic Broadway and Hollywood lineage of Kristin Towers-Rowles starting with her grandmother, the legendary Kathryn Grayson who was an MGM darling and a Hollywood pioneer having starred in some of the most beloved movie musicals of the 1950s including Kiss Me, Kate and Show Boat. Her famous lineage does not stop there - Kristin's grandfather was the dashing and talented Broadway leading man Johnnie Johnston; her mother, Patricia Towers, was a Las Vegas headliner; and her father is the prolific character actor Robert Towers.

Encores! Off-Center today announced programming for the 2019 season of New York City Center's popular summer musical theater series which concludes the landmark 75th Anniversary Season.

The Johnny Mercer Foundation (JMF) and the American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) at Northwestern University will once again seek out the nation's most talented young songwriters and writing teams for the 14th annual Johnny Mercer Foundation Songwriters Project. The free, weeklong songwriting workshop will take place June 23 to 29, 2019 on Northwestern's Evanston campus.

An array of  talent from Broadway and stage will join composer Stephen Schwartz for a special concert titled 'Orphaned Songs for Orphaned Starfish.'  The 7:00 pm event on  Monday, November 19th, and held at The Cutting Room, 44 East 32nd Street, NYC  benefits The Orphaned Starfish Foundation www.osf.org. It features an evening of unsung and new songs as well as hits by Stephen Schwartz.

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is delighted to present an encore presentation of Fancy Nancy, The Musical as part of its fourth TYA Family Season. Book and lyrics by Susan DiLallo, music by Danny Abosch and directed by Alex Bueno, based on original staging by Kelly Todd, Fancy Nancy, the Musical will preview from October 5 through October 7; regular performances will begin October 7th and continue through October 28 on the Cripe Stage at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

Working is returning! Carolee Carmello, Javier Munoz, Gerry Vichi, and Mary Callanan will perform in the 40th Anniversary concert of Working at Feinstein's/54 Below on Sunday, August 12th at 7:00pm and 9:30pm.

American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) and the Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts at Northwestern University announce the Equity cast members of Something in the Game: An All-American Musical, directed and choreographed by David H. Bell with book by Buddy Farmer, music by Michael Mahler and lyrics by David H. Bell and Michael Mahler. The production will run July 20 - August 5 at the Josephine Louis Theater, 20 Arts Circle Drive, on the Northwestern Evanston campus. The Press Opening is Today, July 21 at 7:30 p.m.

WORKING, the 1978 musical that celebrated America's multi-faceted workforce, will celebrate its 40th anniversary with an all-star cast at Feinstein's/54 Below on Sunday, August 12th at 7:00pm and 9:30om. The concert will be hosted by WORKING'S songwriter Stephen Schwartz.
