Danyelle Bossardet And Michael Sobie Take the Stage At Rockwell Broadway Actress Danyelle Bossardet (Beauty and the Beast) and pianist / assistant conductor for Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience Michael Sobie will be debuting their show "Danyelle and Michael Sing Menken and More" on Tuesday, August 28th at famed Los Angeles venue Rockwell Table and Stage.

The show will feature songs from a wide variety of composers, including: Elton John, Sarah Bareilles, Jason Robert Brown, Craig Carnelia, Stephen Schwartz and of course Alan Menken. Singing backup for the duo will be former and current students of Ms. Bossardet, who has been teaching theatre at Northwood High School in Irvine, CA since 2010, where she has produced and directed 24 productions.

Performer and background vocalist Dedrick Bonnerhas created new musical arrangements for the evening and coached the student background vocalists. He will also be performing alongside them. Ms. Bossardet says of the collaboration: "We hired the incomparable Dedrick Bonner to arrange and coach my students for back-up vocals. I saw this as an opportunity for my students to perform in a legendary Los Angeles space, get an LA credit for their resume, and - most importantly - have the incredible opportunity to work with and learn from Dedrick".

Danyelle Bossardet has starred in productions all over the United States and Canada. Her favorites include Chess, My Fair Lady, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Unsinkable Molly Brown, 42nd Street, Grease, Sunday in the Park with George, La Cage Aux Folles, Oklahoma, Guys and Dolls, Richard III, A Tale of Two Cities, and They Shoot Horses, Don't They? Her Broadway credits include "Allana" in Disney's The Little Mermaid (workshop) and a long run as "Belle" in Disney's Broadway smash-hit musical Beauty and the Beast. Ms. Bossardet is also a teaching artist and the Director of Theatre Arts at Northwood High School in Irvine, CA where she resides with her two yellow labs. Ms. Bossardet graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from The University of Arizona and received her Masters of Arts in Teaching from UC Irvine.

Michael Sobie is an award-winning pianist with credits encompassing film, television, and stage productions. He served as assistant conductor and keyboardist for North American and European tours of Ramin Djawadi's Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience, and has also worked with the composer as pianist on soundtracks for A Wrinkle in Time and The Mountain Between Us. Additional screen credits include A Christmas Story: Live for Fox, Hulu's original documentary, Too Funny to Fail, and an upcoming Noah Baumbach project for Netflix, for which he acted as vocal coach. Michael has toured the US and world as a pianist and conductor of Broadway musicals Wicked, Les Miserables, Altar Boyz, Aida, and Xanadu, and has also performed regularly as the pops pianist with the Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra. Michael is the music director for Grammy-nominated Perla Batalla at her sold-out concerts across North America, and has worked as a vocal coach and/or pianist for icons such as Sutton Foster, Scarlett Johansson, Bruce Vilanch, and Tamyra Gray, to name a few.
