According to Comingsoon.net, the forthcoming documentary following the life of Whitney Houston will be released this summer on July 6. The doc, titled WHITNEY, is directed by Kevin Macdonald, who is known for winning the Academy Award for  ONE DAY IN SEPTEMBER. The documentary is coming from Roadside Attractions and Miramax. Angeliki Giannakopoulos' timely, immigrant drama about her father NICK THE GREEK: A ONE-WOMAN SHOW, directed by Amy Chaffee begins its worldwide tour in an exclusive Los Angeles run on February 10, 2018, at the Waco Theater Center in N. Hollywood. After its debut, the production will move to another venue with additional shows through the summer.

CBS All Access announced today that Emmy Award nominee Rupert Friend ( Homeland ) has joined the cast of its upcoming original drama series, STRANGE ANGEL.
