On Friday, June 28, at 8 PM, Flushing Town Hall will present The Queens Jazz Orchestra - A Concert for 'Tootie' Heath to remember and honor the late NEA Jazz Master Albert 'Tootie' Heath, who passed away last month on April 3, just shy of 90 years-old.

On Friday, December 15 at 8:00 PM, Flushing Town Hall will proudly host its 17th annual NEA Jazz Masters concert, presenting 'The Music of the NEA Jazz Masters and Original Compositions.'

On June 23, Flushing Town Hall celebrates the 15th anniversary of its resident Queens Jazz Orchestra with 'Land of the Giants,' a concert featuring the music of several of the greatest saxophonists who lived in Queens. This March, Flushing Town Hall raises the virtual curtain on a series of amazing jazz performances in celebration of Women’s History Month from its own stage and with co-presented programs from Baltimore and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

There's nothing like an old fashioned Broadway musical and St. Mary's fantastic production of 'Guys and Dolls' presented by their performing arts department makes everything right with the world. This classic fable of gamblers, showgirls, sinners, and evangelists has been on Broadway four times but never performed on the Great White Way by elementary school students. Watching this professional and dazzling production, it was hard to believe the actors were only children singing and dancing their hearts out. With such melodic gems as 'Luck Be A Lady,' 'Bushel and a Peck,' and 'I'll Know,' this musical fantasy is timeless!
