The brand new Lincoln Center production of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical opens in Cincinnati.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts hosts more than 120 outstanding theater students from colleges and universities across the nation as part of the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF), which runs April 9-14, 2018 in multiple locations throughout the Center. The Center also announced the national awardees for the KCACTF.

Selected as one of NPR Tiny Desk Concert Contest's favorite California entries, she recently toured as an opening act for Patrick Sweany (Dan Auerbach, The Black Keys), as well as in Europe with her dear friend Jonah Tolchin (Thousand Mile Night, Clover Lane). Her song 'Glory Be' will be featured in the critically acclaimed film Driver X. 

Tickets go on sale April 2nd for Northern Sky Theater's summer 2018 season. Casting has also been announced for the season, including BOXCAR, DAIRY HEIRS, and LUMBERJACKS IN LOVE. The three musical comedies will rotate in repertory from June 13th - August 25th at the outdoor amphitheater in Peninsula State Park. 

Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes closed out the regular set with a blazing rendition of their standard 'I Don't Wanna Go Home' at the band's March 9 appearance at the Southern Theatre (5115 21st E Main St in Downtown Columbus). However, pianist Jeff Kazee appeared to be very glad to return to one of the touchstone places in his career.

She will be joined by her son, Avi Hoffman, the award-winning actor & performer, with special musical guest, Randi Fishenfeld. The evening will include a multi-media presentation, discussion, Q&A & book signing. The event, which is co-sponsored by the University of Miami/Miller Center for Contemporary Judaic Studies, will be FREE & open to the public.

A comedy staple for Canadians looking for homegrown laughs, AIR FARCE is one of the most popular and enduring comedy troupes in the country skewering the biggest news stories, events, people, and pop culture phenomena of the year.This year, the Farce's long-standing New Year's Eve tradition celebrates 25 years on television. AIR FARCE NEW YEAR'S EVE premieres Sunday, December 31 at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT) on CBC with an encore broadcast later the same night at 12:05 a.m. (12:35 NT).
