Heavily retooled from its 2006 Out-of-Town premiere at the Pasadena Playhouse and its eventual 2009 London debut, the Tony-nominated Broadway comedy's North American first national tour continues a three-week engagement at Hollywood's Pantages Theatre through July 28 (the tour is also scheduled for stops in nearby San Diego, July 30 - August 4 and Orange County, August 6-18).

Alright DFW, if you didn't take my advice with my last review, you still have this week to go see SISTER ACT. This time however, the show has moved to Fort Worth's Bass Hall in their last show of the 2012-2013 season of Broadway at the Bass supported by Sewell.
Direct from Broadway, SISTER ACT, the hilarious, five-time Tony-nominated musical smash, is coming to North Texas next month. Presented by Performing Arts Fort Worth, SISTER ACT makes its debut at Bass Performance Hall tonight, June 18-23.
When I found out the divine musical comedy was headed to the DFW area, I jumped on the chance to see it; buying tickets as a mother's day present for my own mom. To be honest, I went in with pretty high expectations. All of which we met and in some cases exceeded.
