HBO Max Acquires Exclusive Streaming Rights to YOUNG SHELDON

HBO Max — the WarnerMedia streaming platform that launched this week — has acquired the exclusive U.S. subscription-video-on-demand rights to the hit comedy Young Sheldon in a deal with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. HBO Max is also the streaming home of the entire library of The Big Bang Theory, the longest-running multicamera comedy in television history; all 279 episodes of Big Bang are available on the streamer now.

ABC's longest-running prime-time entertainment show, “America's Funniest Home Videos” (AFV) will be inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Broadcasting Hall of Fame at the NAB Show Achievement in Broadcasting Dinner on Monday, April 20 at the Encore Las Vegas. Executive producer Vin Di Bona, current host Alfonso Ribeiro and former hosts Tom Bergeron and Bob Saget will accept the honor and participate in a panel discussion following the award presentation.

The much lauded and much admired Broadway leading lady Christine Ebersole will be bringing AN EVENING WITH CHRISTINE EBERSOLE for one night only at The Wallis February 28, 2020. Winner of two Tony Awards (42nd STREET and GREY GARDENS), Christine, in between her many theatrical engagements (and present television gig), ventures out in cabaret settings as her effervescent self, showcasing her gorgeous vocals and charming wit. In a delightful phone conversation, Christine answered my questions with sharp quips as only a seasoned comedienne would. (She was a Saturday Night Live cast member, after all!) Lots of laughing between us!

The Hollywood Reporter (THR) hosted its 28th annual Women in Entertainment breakfast gala presented by Lifetime today, honoring Reese Witherspoon with the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award and Ronan Farrow with the Equity in Entertainment Award. This year's honorees were joined by best-selling author, entrepreneur and political activist Stacey Abrams, who delivered the keynote speech. The event – held at MILK Studios in Los Angeles – coincided with the publication of THR's annual Power 100 Women in Entertainment issue, guest edited by Olivia Wilde.
