The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills announced two selections for its PaleyLive Summer 2018 season and one selection for its Fall 2018 season. The summer programs include: CNN's The 2000s: A Look Back at the Dawn of TV's New Golden Age which will feature a look at the most groundbreaking television shows of the decade, and A Special Evening with Dionne Warwick: Then Came You, celebrating the career of the legendary entertainer. The fall selection, Words on Dance: Jerome Robbins and West Side Story, is part of a worldwide celebration of the legendary director-choreographer's centennial which will include an exclusive conversation with original cast members.

According to Deadline, Allison Janney is in talks to join Hugh Jackman in Automatik's Bad Education, a feature based on a true story from I Think We're Alone Now screenwriter Mike Makowsky and director Cory Finley (Thoroughbreds). The story, which is based on Makowsky's own high school experience, follows Frank Tassone, a superintendent of the school district who works for the betterment of the student's education while embezzling public funds to live the life he wants.

CBS announced today that it has renewed the critically acclaimed MOM for the 2018-2019 season. The comedy starring Anna Faris and Academy and Emmy Award winner Allison Janney, which recently celebrated its 100thepisode, is being picked up for a sixth season, joining other hit shows from CBS' powerhouse Thursday night lineup, THE BIG BANG THEORY, YOUNG SHELDON and S.W.A.T., in being renewed for next year.
