The Factory Theater,1623 W. Howard St., is canceling the preview performances for The HOA this weekend, September 9 - 11, due to a small fire at the theater.

The Factory Theater, 1623 W. Howard St., presents the first production in its 28th season, the world premiere of The HOA, September 9 - October 20, written by Angelina Martinez and directed by Christy Arington.

The Factory Theater has announced its 28th anniversary season of world premieres including Angelina Martinez’s HOA, September 9 – October 22, Shannon O’Neill’s The Kelly Girls, February 17 – April 1, 2023 and Len Foote and Scott OKen’s Lane Call, June 9 – July 22, 2023 and the late night variety show series Factory After Dark.

Howard St., October 27 December 9. The new play is both written and directed by Company Member Mike Ooi. Previews are Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 29 at 3 p.m. Opening night is Friday, Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. The regular run, November 3 December 9, is Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 for previews, $18 for students and seniors and $25 for general admission. In a world premiere production, Babes With Blades Theatre Company is proud to present L'Imbecile, by Aaron Adair, at Rivendell Theatre, 5779 N. Ridge Ave. in Chicago. Previews will be today, April 5, Thursday April 10, and Friday April 11 at 8PM. The opening is Saturday, April 12 at 8PM, and the show will run Thursdays-Fridays at 8PM and Saturdays at both 4PM and 8PM from April 12-May 10.
