Maryland Ensemble Theatre will present THE CRUCIBLE by Arthur Miller from April 3 through April 26 on the MET Mainstage in downtown Frederick, Maryland. Directed by Julie Herber, the production revisits Miller’s 1953 drama set during the Salem witch trials of 1692.
Marietta Theatre Company will present, 'Head Over Heels', a musical comedy with music and lyrics from the catalog of The Go-Go's at the newly formed Alley Stage (11 Anderson Street, Marietta 30060). Jeff Whitty conceived the show and wrote the original book, which was then later adapted by James Magruder.
Before we were Bumbling and Mingling and Swiping Right, there were Personals - ads for those looking for love. And before there was the television hit show Friends. The creators took a stab and making a musical that would later help them lay the groundwork for that show.
