Thirteen years after bare, the pop opera, began its journey, bare, the rock musical, returns to Los Angeles. The glory|struck production is set to open at the Hayworth Theatre September 6 (with a preview performance on September 5).
Los Angeles's hit series 'For The Record' brings movies to life as never seen before and is celebrating its third anniversary by reinventing one of the audience's favorite shows, 'For The Record: Baz Luhrmann.' This new adaptation at Rockwell: Table & Stage intertwines the tales of the star-crossed lovers from 'Romeo + Juliet,' 'Strictly Ballroom,' 'Moulin Rouge,' and 'The Great Gatsby' in a stunning 360-degree live theatrical concert experience. Producers are thrilled to announce that 'Pitch Perfect' actress Shelley Regner has joined the cast of the Los Angeles revival of bare as Nadia for select performances. Regner will be filling in for Katie Stevens (Fox's 'American Idol') on dates when she will be concurrently filming the MTV Pilot 'Faking It.'
