Karl Schultz, jazz piano protege and featured performer in this year's New Paradigm Theatre Holiday show 'Have yourself a Very Jazzy Christmas'. Karl is a Weston High School Freshman who has been playing piano since the age of four. He has performed at a variety of venues. local fundraisers, private events, local theater productions and many more. Karl was an event guest performer at a?oeBeechwooda?? with famed pianist Frederic Chiu, as well as on live radio on WPKN with host Richard Epstein. He's earned top scores in the Western Region musical competition (CMEA), as well as winning medals for Best Soloist and Best Accompaniment at the Music in the Parks competition in Massachusetts. Karl received the top honor award for the arts at WMS for 2018-2019. Karl also performs with the rock band, Caravan-the-Band as well as several other ensembles in Fairfield County.

Three all-star lineups are set for the next concerts in the new Broadway Sings spinoff series, Broadway Sings: Unplugged. On September 30, October 21, and November 18, The Green Room 42 will present three different casts for Sara Bareilles: Unplugged each month, featuring original a?oeunpluggeda?? arrangements of the singer-songwriter's hits, orchestrated for an acoustic band. Each night will offer two identical shows: 7pm and 9:30pm.

Jamibeth Margolis has been a professional casting director in New York for 20 years. She was with Johnson-Liff Casting, Cameron Mackintosh, and Margolis-Seay Casting and is now out on her own as a freelance casting director. Atlantic Theater Company's World Premiere musical The Secret Life of Bees, book by Lynn Nottage, music by Duncan Sheik, lyrics by Susan Birkenhead, directed by Sam Gold, choreographed by Chris Walker and based on the best-selling novel by Sue Monk Kidd, just opened at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street). The production is a limited run through July 14, 2019.
You don't have to be a talented baker (and I certainly am not) to appreciate a show that uses pie as a metaphor for life. Its variety, its many surprises, how with one wrong measurement or ingredient everything can go terribly wrong.
