Irish Theatre of Chicago will conclude its 2016-17 Season with the world premiere of Geraldine Aron's touching comedy THE MY WAY RESIDENTIAL, directed by ensemble member Kevin Theis, playing May 17 - June 25, 2017 at The Den Theatre (Upstairs Main Stage), 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago. Tickets are currently available at www.irishtheatreofchicago.org.

Firebrand Theatre, the first musical theatre company committed to employing and empowering women by expanding opportunities on and off the stage, is pleased to announce its inaugural season, featuring two fully-produced musicals. Firebrand's 2017-18 season kicks off this fall with the Chicago premiere of LIZZIE, a rock musical based on the true-life story of accused axe-murdereress Lizzie Borden. Directed by Victoria Bussert with music direction by Andra Velis-Simon, LIZZIE feature music by Steven Cheslik-deMeyer and Alan Stevens Hewitt, lyrics by Cheslik-deMeyer and Tim Maner and book by Tim Maner.

Silk Road Rising presents their first-ever holiday show with the world premiere of Christmas at Christine's, written and performed by Christine Bunuan and directed by J.R. Sullivan. The production will run December 1st to 23rd, 2016 at Silk Road Rising located at 77 W. Washington St., Lower Level, Chicago, IL, 60602. The Press Opening is Today, December 2nd at 8:00pm.

The Chicago theater community will present a wide variety of festive plays, musicals, dance and concert offerings this Holiday season.  In support, the League of Chicago Theatres will once again create a comprehensive Holiday Theatre Guide that will be available beginning in mid-November at hotels, theaters, events, and destinations across the Chicago area. Writers Theatre, under the leadership of Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma, opens its 25th Anniversary Season with a new adaptation of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, directed and adapted by Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Scott Parkinson. The show runs September 7 - October 16, 2016

AVENUE Q at Mercury Theater Chicago, 3745 N. Southport Avenue will celebrate its 100th performance of the hilarious musical comedy, now playing through October 26, 2014. AVENUE Q continues to sell out and break all box office records at Mercury Theater Chicago.
