Irish Theatre of Chicago will conclude its 2016-17 Season with the world premiere of Geraldine Aron's touching comedy THE MY WAY RESIDENTIAL, directed by ensemble member Kevin Theis, playing May 17 - June 25, 2017 at The Den Theatre (Upstairs Main Stage), 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago. Tickets are currently available at www.irishtheatreofchicago.org. Note: THE MY WAY RESIDENTIAL replaces ITC's previously announced production of Little Thing, Big Thing.

THE MY WAY RESIDENTIAL will feature ITC ensemble members Jeff Christian and Carolyn Kruse with Terry Bell, Belinda Bremner and Christine Bunuan.

Willa is an elderly woman from Galway living in England. Byron is a young South African emigre. In the unlikely setting of a suburban London nursing home, this pair of unloved misfits discovers that family can be chosen and freedom is for the taking. From the author of Irish Theatre Company's hit production of My Brilliant Divorce comes this touching and uplifting story about the choices we make, the hearts we touch, and how it's never too late to live your life.

The production team for THE MY WAY RESIDENTIAL includes: Merje Veski (scenic design), Beth Laske-Miller (costume design), Smooch Medina (lighting design), Petter Wahlback (sound design), Ian Jerome (props designer), Kathy Logelin (dialect design) and Jen Bukovsky* (stage manager).
