Photo Flash: ROCK OF AGES Visits National Theatre

In 1987 on the Sunset Strip, a small-town girl met a big-city dreamer - and in L.A.'s most legendary rock club, they fell in love to the greatest songs of the ‘80's. It's ROCK OF AGES, a hilarious, feel-good love story told through the hit songs of iconic rockers Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake, and many more. Direct from Broadway, Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis of 'American Idol' fame will reprise his acclaimed performance as Drew in this first National Tour, playing the National Theatre beginning July 12 for two weeks only.

Maroulis to Depart ROCK OF AGES in July; Working on Album

'American Idol' alum and Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis will soon say goodbye to the national tour of Rock of ages, according to a recent interview with JSOnline. Maraoulis, who originated leading man 'Drew' on Broadway, commented: 'I've set out and accomplished everything I've wanted to do.' Maroulis departs from the show in July after being involved with the show for three years.

Maroulis, ROCK OF AGES Cast Set for 'Dancing with the Stars' Episode

HANSON perform their new song, 'Give a Little,' during the one-hour special, 'Dancing with the Stars: The Road to the Finals,' TUESDAY, APRIL 26 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET). Within the live hour, the remaining couples will look ahead, through live interviews and video, to what it will take for each of them to reach the finals. Past 'DWTS' celebrities and the judges will also provide their commentary on each couple.

On ROCK OF AGES film director Adam Shankman's Twitter, he wrote that he 'was at #rockofagesmovie office last night til 1130 pm. Long day, but script gets better and better. New song mashups sound amazing. Added rock you like a hurricane to movie. It's AWESOME!!!'

ROCK OF AGES Comes to Houston 5/31-6/12

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) will present ROCK OF AGES at Hobby Center for the Performing Arts from May 31 to June 12, 2011.

After a breif hiatus, ROCK OF AGES re-opened at the Helen Hayes Theatre on Broadway last night, March 24. The five-time Tony Award nominated musical played its final performance at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, January 9, 2011. The production moved houses to make way for RAIN, which had to vacate it's home at the Neil Simon Theatre to accommodate Catch Me If You Can. Constantine Maroulis Introduces Baby Malena

Constantine Maroulis, who originated the role of Drew in ROCK OF AGES on Broadway, recently introduced his first child, Malena James to the world via People Magazine. On how he and mom ANgel Reed chose the now three month old's name, he commented: '. 'I always loved the name. I'm not fond of a lot of Greek female names. James is my middle name and my father's name. It just fit.'

Alec Baldwin Joins 'Rock of Ages' Film Cast

'30 Rock' star Alec Baldwin has joined the cast of 'Rock of Ages,' New Line's adaptation of the Broadway musical, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The film's director Adam Shankman announced Baldwin's participation via Twitter on Friday, saying: ' Based on info I got today, I'm gonna confirm Alec Baldwin as Dennis in 'Rock Of Ages.' Hollah.'
