Prolific playwright Tom Jacobson world premieres his two latest works The Bauhaus Project and Crevasse in July. Open Fist Theatre Company premieres The Bauhaus Project, a theatrical event presented in two parts (Part 1: Bauhaus Weimer and Part 2: Bauhaus Dessau and Bauhaus Berlin) opening July 19, 2024, at Atwater Village (with previews July 12th, 13th and 14th). Son of Semele and The Victory Theatre co-produces Crevasse beginning July 26 (with previews July 19th and 20th) at the Victory Theatre. In The Bauhaus Project, Martha Demson directs the cast of Jack Goldwait, Sang Kim, Katarina Joy Lopez, Chloe Madriaga and John C. Sweet. In Crevasse Matthew McCray directs Leo Marks and Ann Noble. The ever busy Tom was ever gracious enough answer a few of my queries again.

New plays THE BAUHAUS PROJECT and CREVASSE explore the connection between art and the rise of fascism and anti-Semitism in Nazi Germany. Performances run from July 12 to August 18.

Light, Chloe Madriaga, Christopher Neiman, Tristan Rewald, Lacey  Rosewall, Lucy  Schmidt, Allegra  Rodriguez Shivers, Jack TenBarge, Jesse James Thomas, Frank Tirimacco and Dan Wingard. I got to throw out some questions to Jen, who’s playing the titular role of Boudica. And she punched back her answers directly on target.

The company and creative team behind the critically acclaimed Punch and Judy and The Faggot King or The Troublesome Reign and Lamentable Death of Edward the Second have announced The Final Girl, an original 80s slasher-horror play guaranteed to heighten the enjoyment of the Halloween season. Written and directed by Christopher Johnson, The Final Girl will play two preview performances on October 7 at 8pm and October 8 at 7pm. Opening is set for Friday, October 13, at 8pm at the McCadden Place Theatre in Hollywood. The limited engagement will run through Saturday, November 4 only.
