Rockwell table and stage with Cherry Poppins present THE HAUNTING OF HOE HOUSE a parody musical theatre burlesque Thursdays October 24th and October 31st at 8pm.

Rockwell Table & Stage in association with actor, singer, and human empowerment ambassador Anthea Neri and associate producer Danny Bernardo proudly present the D.I.V.A. Speakeasy Salon, a variety show full of burlesque, music, magic, comedy, and more. Hosted by Neri and Bernardo, the D.I.V.A. Speakeasy Salon transforms the Rockwell into an all-encompassing, vintage experience that mixes the subversiveness of the Kit Kat Club with the immersiveness of Westworld. Planned as an ongoing series, the inaugural event will take place on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 8pm at Rockwell Table & Stage. Admission is $20 and tickets can be reserved at http://bit.ly/DIVA820.

45 Milligrams, a new play written, produced and co-starring Ian Kaye, is making its world premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in June 2019. The show is a darkly comic look at mental health, marrying absurdist text with stylized physicality to call into question how conceptions of sanity are formed.

Theatrical hyphenate Michael Shaw Fisher brings his latest creation DR. NYMPHO VS. THE SEX ZOMBIES - A ROCK MUSICAL to the Celebration Theatre @ the Lex beginning April 26, 2019. I had the very fun opportunity to probe actor/writer/producer Michael's brain for his birthing of Dr. NYMPHO.

Celebration, under the artistic direction of Michael A. Shepperd, Cherry Poppins and Orgasmico present a very special guest production, the 2018 Hollywood Fringe Festival award-winning burlesque rock musical (Best Musical, Best World Premiere & Bechdal Wallace Award), DR. NYMPHO VS. THE SEX ZOMBIES, book, music & lyrics by Michael Shaw Fisher, choreography by Brin Hamblin, musical direction by Sandy Chao Wang and directed by Sarah Haworth-Hodges. DR. NYMPHO VS. THE SEX ZOMBIES will open on Friday, April 26 at 8pm and perform through Sunday, May 26 at Celebration Theatre @ the Lex Theatre, 6760 Lexington Ave. in Los Angeles.

Definition of Man, which had its world premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in June 2017 and recently finished an international tour returns to the LA stage this January. The one-act play had an oversold run during Hollywood Fringe and was nominated for multiple awards including Best World Premiere and won Best of Fringe in Dance & Physical Theatre, the "Ripest Show" sponsored Award from Cherry Poppins, and an Encore Producers Award. At Edinburgh, they enjoyed a successful twenty-one show run that critics called a five-star "unmissable" production (everything- theatre.co.uk) where the "quality of writing, thought and performance going into the show...is a pleasure to see" (thescotsman.com).

On Monday, November 19th, (mostly)musicals returned to Upstairs at Vitello's to celebrate the holidays with their 30th edition! Music director Gregory Nabours led a jingling (ring-ting-tingling too!) evening, featuring Alli Miller (CHERRY POPPINS), Amy Engelhardt (BASTARD JONES), Clent Bowers (B'way: CATS, BIG), Emily Clark (Stealing Focus), Gabriel Gonzalez (La Verdad), Iara Nemirovsky (National tour: SCHOOL OF ROCK), Jeffrey Polk (B'way: FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE), Kelley Dorney (IN A BOOTH AT CHASEN'S), Kristina Miller (JERSEY BOYS), Jonny Lee Jr. and Justin Anthony Long (CITY OF DREAMS), Juan Lozano (2 Cents Theatre Company), Keith and Laura Nicole Harrison (EMOJILAND), Natalia Vivino (CHILDREN OF EDEN at 5-Star Theatricals), and Shawn Ryan ('America's Got Talent'). The evening also showcased a guest performance from the cast of the critically acclaimed Greenway Court production of THE COLOR PURPLE, and, as always, the open mic afterparty! Alli Miller (CHERRY POPPINS, I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER), and Juan Lozano (2Cents Theatre, The Freedom Ledges) will also join the previously announced merry sleigh-full of performers!
