The Philadelphia engagement will mark the first official stop on the multi-city national tour. The all new production of Les Misérables features glorious new staging and spectacular reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo. The press opening is Wednesday, Jan. 5 at 7:30 pm.

The 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards were held last night, March 13, 2010 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. The event was hosted by Tony Award winner Alan Cumming. Colman Domingo's 'A Boy and His Soul', produced by the Vineyard Theatre, won the Outstanding New York Theater: Broadway & Off-Broadway award, while 'She Likes Girls' by Chisa Hutchison took home the award in the Outstanding New York Theater: Off-Off-Broadway category. The Broadway musical HAIR received a Special Recognition Award for their support of LGBT equality.

Last night, cast members from HAIR participated in the City Harvest canned food drive last night. The truck was parked in front of the Al Hirschfeld Theatre from 4 to 7 and cast members were there to greet fans dropping off food. With this, the cast continues its commitment to community service.
