The Gaslight Anthem is following last year’s acclaimed return to action with a spring headline tour, highlighted by the band’s first live shows in the Southern US since 2015.  Dates begin May 1 at Houston, TX’s House of Blues and then continue through the month. Special guests include Oso Oso and Emily Wolfe.

The 16-date PRISMARAMA USA Tour will kick off on May 1st at The Fillmore in San Francisco and will visit Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Houston, Dallas, New York, and Washington DC, among others, before wrapping up on May 30th at Chicago’s House of Blues. Tickets for the Prismarama US Tour will be on sale beginning this Friday, February 17th.

The series features Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), India Amarteifio (Young Queen Charlotte), Corey Mylchreest (Young King George), Arsema Thomas (Young Lady Danbury) as well as taped appearances with Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury) and Ruth Gemmell (Lady Violet Bridgerton). Last night, at the tenth anniversary celebration and first-ever awards ceremony for the Doris Duke Artist Awards, the Doris Duke Foundation announced the newest class of Doris Duke Artists and revealed it is doubling the size of the prize.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents a family series of shows as part of their 2022/2023 season programming. The first is Somos Amigos on March 4 and 5. Following will be Ugly Duckling on March 18 and 19. Next is Grimmz Fairy Tales on April 22 and 23. Doctor Kaboom: Look Out! Science is Coming! will close the series on May 6 and 7.

Charlotte has a special visit from Abbey Road. Not The Beatles, mind you, but Charlotte's favorite Beatles tribute band. The nationally touring show performs on Sunday, March 26 at the Neighborhood Theatre in a fully seated show. The Charlotte show is part of a 125-city tour of the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

The gala was held on Saturday night, February 11, 2023, before a live audience at The Beverly Hilton. It was also live-streamed to an audience of millions worldwide.
