KCRep Kicks Off Season with World Premiere Musical

Kansas City Repertory Theatre launches its 2018/2019 season with the World Premiere musical, LAST DAYS OF SUMMER, September 7 - 30, 2018. LAST DAYS is based on the book by author Steve Kluger, who also wrote the book and lyrics for this production. LAST DAYS OF SUMMER features music by Grammy winner Jason Howland, is directed and choreographed by Tony nominee Jeff Calhoun (Broadway's NEWSIES, KCRep's BETWEEN THE LINES), and is produced by special arrangement with Daryl Roth (Broadway's KINKY BOOTS and INDECENT, KCRep's BETWEEN THE LINES).
KCRep Announces Single Tickets On Sale July 30

Single tickets for the 2018/2019 season at Kansas City Repertory Theatre will go on sale to the general public on Monday, July 30, 2018. The tickets, which range in price from $38 to $97 for online purchases, and are as low as $10 for students the day of a performance, will be available online, in-person, and on mobile devices with the app.

Last night, Jesse Eisenberg's THE SPOILS recently had its press night at Trafalgar Studios. His third play, The Spoils originally ran Off-Broadway in 2015 at The Pershing Square Signature Center. The London production stars Eisenberg, Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones), Katie Brayben(Beautiful - The Carole King Musical), Annapurna Sriram (Billions) and Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory), and plays until August 13. The European premiere of The New Group's critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production, The Spoils, a razor-sharp new comedy written by and starring internationally acclaimed actor Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network, Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice), will transfer for a strictly limited season at London's Trafalgar Studios, from 27 May to 13 August, with press night on 2 June.
