L.A.'s Classical Theater Ensemble, The Antaeus Company, announces that their critically-acclaimed (LA TIMES Critics' Choice, BACKSTAGE Critic's Pick) smash-hit production of their World Premiere adaptation of the literary classic, COUSIN BETTE, adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher from the novel by Honore de Balzac and directed by Jeanie Hackett, will be EXTENDING through Sunday, March 28th at Antaeus' interim home, Deaf West Theatre, located at 5112 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood.

SCR Announces 13th Annual Pacific Playwrights Festival Lineup, 4/23-4/25

South Coast Repertory's 13th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF) will shine the spotlight on seven new plays written by America's finest writers, including five who will be familiar to SCR audiences and two who are making their SCR debuts. This year's festival, which takes place April 23-25, will feature fully-produced world premieres by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Julia Cho and staged readings of brand-new works by Amy Freed, Itamar Moses, Bathsheba Doran, Sofia Alvarez and David West Read.

Director/Designer Isaac Mizrahi Directs A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC in St. Louis

Famed director/designer Isaac Mizrahi will direct the upcoming production of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC at the Opera Theatre in St. Louis. The production will run June 6th through 19th at the Opera Theatre and will feature conductor Stephen Lord. NIGHT MUSIC was written by Hugh Wheeler and features a score by Stephen Sondheim.

ANTAEUS COMPANY Moves Opening Night of COUSIN BETT to FEBRUARY 6 & 7

As per notice from The Antaeus Company, due to circumstances beyond production's control, the opening nights for The Antaeus Company's world premiere adaptation of COUSIN BETTE have been pushed back a week. The new opening dates are: Saturday, February 6 at 7:30pm and Sunday, February 7 at 4pm.
