INDECENT Announced At Ahmanson Theatre This June

'Indecent' is a deeply moving play inspired by the true events surrounding the controversial 1923 Broadway debut of Sholem Asch's 'God Of Vengeance' - a play seen by some as a seminal work of Jewish culture, and by others as an act of traitorous libel.

Stage Door Theatre's presents Mel Brooks' record-breaking, award-winning musical comedy The Producers.   Variety's Charles Isherwood called the show a 'a rip-roaring, gut-busting, rib-tickling, knee-slapping, aisle-rolling … good time', and it definitely set the standard for outrageous, in-your-face, politically incorrect humor.  The Producers will run through February 10th at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC).

Lakeside Community Theatre announces NONEQUITY open auditions for ORDINARY DAYS by Adam Gwon. The 80-minute musical 'captures with stinging clarity that uneasy moment in youth when doubts begin to cloud hopes for a future of unlimited possibility' wrote Charles Isherwood, reviewer for the New York Times. The show is to be directed by Emily Leekha, music directed by John Norine Jr., and stage managed by Elizabeth Cantrell.
