Join She Makes Me Laugh as it celebrates International Women's Day with a lineup worth celebrating!

After three successful shows, renowned cookbook author, lifestyle and entertaining expert Pamela Morgan brings her one-women cabaret show back to The Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 West 42nd Street, New York City), for one night only on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at 7:00 pm. It will be a fun night of singing, dancing and lots of laughs for all those who attend. In addition, Acclaimed singer, actor and MC/Host Richard Skipper will be Pamela's special guest for the evening.

Aisha Jawando and Jammy Kasongo will lead the cast as Tina and Ike in TINA a?" THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL as the hit production enters its third year in the West End. Joining them and making her West End debut is Chanel Haynes as the alternate Tina.

The National Theatre have today announced director Grace Gummer as the first recipient of the NT Women of Tomorrow Directors Award, as part of a partnership with the CHANEL Fund for Women ina??thea??Arts and Culture and inaugural venue partner The Yard Theatre. Grace was selected from over 160 applicants by the panel which included representatives from the NT and The Yard.

The fourth episode of the season, a?oeRENEWED!a??, celebrates awakening, emerging, longing and survivinga?"all in the spirit of entering springtime. Host Thomas March's topical monologue will cover adolescent drunkenness, thwarted lust, and the profound indignities of the woods. The show will feature poetry from Jee Leong Koh & Katherine Barrett Swett, reading from their new collections; music from Carela & Mark Aaron James; and comedy from Whitney Chanel Clark & Jaye McBride. Musical Director Drew Wutke will be on keys.

The Joffrey Academy of Dance, Official School of The Joffrey Ballet, will present four world premieres in the culmination of Joffrey's national call for ALAANA (African, Latinx, Asian, Arab and Native American) artists to submit applications for the Joffrey Academy's Tenth Annual Winning Works Choreographic Competition. This year's Competition winners-Chanel DaSilva, Tsai Hsi Hung, Pablo Sánchez and Durante Verzola-each have choreographed an original work created on the Joffrey Academy Trainees and Studio Company. Winning Works expands to four performances in 2020 and returns to the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago's Edlis Neeson Theater (220 E. Chicago Avenue) Friday, March 20 at 7:30 PM, Saturday, March 21 at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM, Sunday, March 22 at 2:00 PM.
