ABIGAIL'S PARTY Comes to The Everyman This Month

It was 1977, the year of skin-tight polyester, the Queen's Silver Jubilee and Saturday Night Fever. The Sex Pistols were storming up the charts, skateboarding was the latest craze and Angela Rippon danced with Morecambe & Wise.

The Everyman Launches A Stellar Summer Season

The Everyman has announced its summer 2023 programme. The season's highlight will be The Everyman's production of The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams which runs from Wednesday, Augiust 2nd to Saturday, August 26th. It will be directed by Emma Jordan, director of the acclaimed production of Enda Walsh's The New Electric Ballroom (The Gate Theatre) which toured to the theatre earlier this year.   

Bob Mould Announces North American Tour Dates

Bob Mould announces a fall Solo Electric tour of the United States starting on October 6 at the Atlantis in Washington, DC, and ending at the Stoughton Opera House in Stoughton, WI on October 27. Support on the tour will be the long-time bassist in Mould’s touring trio Jason Narducy. 

Brian Childers Joins The Cast Of AMT Theater's ON THE RIGHT TRACK

Brian Childers will join the cast of AMT Theater’s new musical, On The Right Track. It features music by Al Tapper and a book by Tony Sportiello and is directed by celebrated Mexican director Mauricio Cedeño  with music direction by Katie Coleman. Childers will replace Cody Gerszewski beginning Thursday, April 20, 2023, joining Dana Aber (Off Broadway: An Unbalanced Mind) and David L. Murray Jr. (Recent: The Mountaintop, Songs for a New World).

'We are creating a delicate menagerie that we are within - this strained relationship between a mother and children, a budding relationship between a daughter and her gentleman caller. We're creating ourselves within the menagerie because we, like the glass, are very fragile,' said director David J. Valdez.

Theatres Trust, the charity that campaigns to protect the UK’s theatres, has published its annual Theatres at Risk Register, which highlights theatres across the UK under threat of closure, redevelopment or severe decay, but which all have the potential to be revived for their local communities. 

London Classic Theatre Announce Cast For UK Tour of ABIGAIL'S PARTY

London Classic Theatre has announced the full cast for their UK tour of Mike Leigh's classic comedy, Abigail's Party. Michael Cabot, the founder and artistic director of London Classic Theatre, directs Rebecca Birch (Beverly), Jo Castleton (Susan), Alice De-Warrenne (Angela), George Readshaw (Tony) and Tom Richardson (Laurence).

In Island City Stage's new production of Rotterdam by Jon Brittain, audiences journey to find out what happens next in this modern comedy about gender, sexuality, and being a long way from home. Rotterdam runs from January 19 – February 19.
