Out of the Box Theatrics has announced the cast of their upcoming concert 'Which Comes First: The Music and Lyrics of Matt and Matte.'

Musical Theatre Factory, under the direction of Founding Artistic Director, Shakina Nayfack, has announced that it will feature the musical theater writer with a pop/punk edge Rebekah M. Allen in its all-female evening of original music featuring some of Broadway's most badass ladies.

The fall 2016 season of /A•STIR/ which included development of five new musicals, wrapped this week. The mission of the /A•STIR/ is to introduce movement as a narrative tool to writers, composers, directors, and producers of projects in the early writing and development stages. The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) presented the Women of Note concert series, celebrating female, queer and trans artists who are changing the landscape of musical theatre, on Monday, August 1 at The Duke on 42nd Street. Featuring dynamic sounds and incredible performers, this one-night-only concert event showcased even more artists than last year in two back-to-back performances.
