Broadway's Future Songbook Series Presents Preston Max Allen

Broadway's Future Songbook Series - presented by Arts and Artists of Tomorrow - continues its twenty-seventh season on Monday, May 21st in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center located at 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street.

Produced and Hosted by John Znidarsic, the evening spotlights the songs of Preston Max Allen. The concert will be directed by Michael Bello (Associate director, Summer: The Donna Summer Musical), music direction by Patrick Sulken (Pretty Woman, Kinky Boots) and produced by Megan Kingery/POE Global LLC Show time is 6PM and ADMISSION IS FREE.

ABOUT OUR WRITER: Preston Max Allen is a musical theatre writer based in New
York City. His work has been featured at the New York Musical Festival, Musical Theatre
Factory, Feinstein's/54 Below, Joe's Pub, Signature Theatre, Laurie Beechman Theatre,
York Theatre ("Tune In Time" winner), Gallery Players, Lululemon (it's a long story), The Duplex, and Second City Chicago. Preston conceived and wrote book, music, and lyrics for WE ARE THE TIGERS (Hudson Backstage Theatre, L.A. Stage Alliance Ovation winner for Best Lyrics/Composition, nominee for Best Production and Music Direction), NEVER BETTER (NYMF Developmental Reading Series), and THE RAGE: CARRIE 2, AN UNAUTHORIZED MUSICAL PARODY (Underscore Theatre, Jeff Nominee for New
Musical). Additional projects include book/lyrics for FRANKLIN PIERCE: DRAGON SLAYER (composer Will Buck, Sound Bites 4.0 Selection), music/lyrics for BRADICAL AND THE PINK SOCKS (Diverging Elements), music/lyrics for THE HUNTED: ENCORE (LA Webfest Outstanding Score), and the upcoming original rock musical AGENT 355 in collaboration with Jessica Kahkoska, Madeline Smith, and Sammi Cannold. Preston is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago, the Second City Chicago Comedy Studies Program, and an alum of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop.
