MY FAIR LADY Lands On DVD 10/6

Fall in love all over again with one of the greatest musical films of all-time when My Fair Lady lands on DVD October 6 from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment. Winner of eight Academy Awards® in 1964 including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor, director George Cukor's My Fair Lady features an all-star cast including Audrey Hepburn, Rex Harrison, Stanley Holloway, Wilfrid Hyde-White and Gladys Cooper.

'My Fair Lady' and 'The Great Race' will screen at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood on Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28, respectively. Screenings will begin at 8 p.m. The programs are presented by the Academy's Science and Technology Council in conjunction with its 'Dressed in Color: The Costumes' exhibition, which includes costumes from both films.

Crowley, Long Receive TDF/Irene Sharaff Award 3/27

Legendary designers WILLIAM IVEY LONG and BOB CROWLEY are among the four recipients of 2009 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards to be presented at a ceremony this Friday, March 27 at 6:30pm, at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Five-time Tony Award winning costume designer William Ivey Long will receive the 2009 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for theatrical costume design, and, for his achievements as both a costume and scenic designer, Bob Crowley (also a five-time Tony Award winner) will receive the TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards' special Robert L. B. Tobin Award for Lifetime Achievement in Theatrical Design.
