Rom Com Fest, a new Los Angeles based film festival which celebrates love through film and experiences, announced the lineup for its inaugural festival which will take place June 20-23, 2019. The lineup includes special themed screenings of iconic romantic comedies, as well as a competition lineup of new romantic comedies, and a number of unique themed events and activities. The program was announced today by the festival's Founder and Executive Director Miraya Berke.

Jasmine Cephas Jones will join the cast on HBO's upcoming comedy series Mrs. Fletcher  in a recurring role, according to Deadline. The series stars Kathryn Hahn and is directed and executive produced by Nicole Holofcener.

Netflix has renewed Atypical, the critically acclaimed original series created, written and executive produced by Robia Rashid (How I Met Your Mother, Will & Grace) for a third season.  

The five night binge-a-thon begins on Thursday, October 25th at 10 PM ET/PT. A reimagining of the 1988 cult-classic film, Paramount Network will air two episodes a night, from October 25th to October 29th.

Vulture today announced the lineup for its second annual Vulture Festival Los Angeles Presented by AT&T, a weekend of high-profile events bringing the entertainment site to life, and an expansion of the pop-culture extravaganza that has taken place in New York City for the last five years. Vulture Festival Los Angeles's lineup includes actors in conversation, exclusive screenings, cast reunions, live podcasts, a comedy show, table reads, a private museum tour, and more, taking place November 17–18, primarily at the iconic Hollywood Roosevelt in Los Angeles, with select events at other venues. The Long Dumb Road, a film by Hannah Fidell, Starring Tony Revolori, Jason Mantzoukas, Taissa Farmiga, Grace Gummer, Casey Wilson, and Ron Livingston, opens theatrically in NY on November 9th and will expand to LA and additional markets on November 16th.

On Sunday, September 16, SHOWTIME Networks hosted a privation celebration for the 2018 EMMY nominees at the Chateau Marmont.

HBO Gives Series Order To MRS. FLETCHER

HBO has given a series order to MRS. FLETCHER starring Kathryn Hahn, according to Variety. HBO ordered the project's pilot back in April.
