Before their August 3rd opening at NYMF, LUDO's Broken Bride is presenting a... 'Broken Bride Preview Cabaret' on Saturday, July 23rd at 7:30pm (doors open at 7pm) at The West End Lounge 955 West End Avenue (at 107th Street).

Tour: American Idiot; NYMF: The Runaway Clone), Larry Hamilton (Off Bway: You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown; Captain Louie), Catherine Landeta (Regional: The King and I, Avenue Q, Bat Boy), Melissa Hunter McCann (TV: 'Tony Awards'; NY: Carnegie Hall's West Side Story, Encore's Paint Your Wagon), Gabrielle McClinton (Bway: Pippin; 1st Nat. Tour: American Idiot), Brendan Malafronte (Nat. Tour: Annie, The Producers, Singin' in the Rain), Jamen Nathakumar, Jackson Perrin, Devin Richey, Brian Charles Rooney (Bway: The Threepenny Opera; NYMF: Bedbugs!!!), Ashley Talluto (Nat. Tour: Flashdance, West Side Story), Michael Jayne Walker (Regional: Hair, Godspell, Tommy), and Amy Whitcomb (TV: 'The Voice;' 'The Sing-Off'). LUDO's Broken Bride is being staged at The Duke on 42nd Street a NEW 42ND STREET project, 229 West 42nd Street (bet. 10th and 11th Aves.) in NYC for five performances from Tuesday, August 2 through Saturday, August 6, 2016.

CT Critics Circle Awards will be presented Monday, June 1 at Hartford Stage.

The Spring season is officially underway with the start of Memphis at the John W. Engeman Theatre of Northport, Long Island. The multi Tony award winner, directed excellently by Igor Goldin, runs at the gorgeous venue through May 8th and I cannot say enough about this brilliant production. The cast, the passion, the creative team… everything is just top-notch.

The John W. Engeman Theater began performances of MEMPHIS on Thursday, March 24 at 8:00pm and will run through May 8, 2016. Winner of four Tony Awards, including Best Musical, MEMPHIS is filled with laughter, emotion and roof-raising rock 'n' roll, and features a Tony-winning book by Joe DiPietro (I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change) and a Tony-winning score with music by Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan.

RSO at the Beechman, featuring actors from Bridges of Madison County, Chaplin, and Jasper in Deadland, will be presented today, November 7th at 7 and 9:30 pm. The night will feature songs from the award winning composer's many shows, including 35mm, Jasper in Deadland, and We Foxes.

Tonight, October 23rd is opening night for Radd Theatre Co.'s first off-broadway production, Out of the Basement, beginning 7:00pm at the American Theater for Actors. Writer and artistic director, Danny Coates-Finke, describes the play as 'A scary, sometimes funny, always exciting journey down the rabbit-hole of masculinity and its consequences'. Show has limited run, today, October 23rd - October 26th.
