From 8-8:30 p.m. ET, 'Whitney' (1.4/4 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall) matched its second-highest 18-49 rating so far this season.

ABC's annual broadcast of "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve Part 1" pulled in an average audience of 22.2 million Total Viewers and delivered an impressive 7.7 rating, 26 share among Adults 18-49 (9.7 million). 

NBC has released the full batch of promo shots featuring new judges Shakira and Usher for the upcoming season of THE VOICE. The all-star performers replace judges Christina Aguilera and Ceelo Green, who will take a break from the reality singing competition in order to focus on their current tours. At 8 p.m., 'Betty White's Off Their Rockers' averaged a 1.5/4 in 18-49 and 5.7 million viewers overall, matching the show's highest rating for an 8 p.m. telecast since Wednesday, April 25, 2012.

NBC has won the primetime week of December 31-January 6 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers adults 25-54 and adults 18-34, according to "live plus same day" viewing data from Nielsen Media Research. NBC has now ranked #1 or tied for #1 among those networks for 13 of the season's 15 weeks and 20 of the last 24 weeks overall.

* From 9-11 p.m. ET, Dateline NBC' averaged a 1.5/4 in 18-49 and 5.7 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its fourth, 'Dateline' grew by 64 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.8 rating from a 1.1), by 60 percent in adults 25-54 (2.4 vs. 1.5) and 63 percent or 2.7 million persons in total viewers (6.9 million vs. 4.2 million).

Chelsea Peretti was most recently a writer on the Emmy-nominated NBC show Parks and Recreation and can be seen in the Special All-Star Comedy Issue of Vanity Fair. Judd Apatow describes Peretti as "one of six truly inspired comics doing great work right now."

NBC won Wednesday among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49 and total viewers.

NBC ranked #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox Tuesday night in 18-49 as the 9:30 encore of 'Betty White's Off Their Rockers' and 'Parenthood' ranked as the #1 and #2 shows of the night on those networks.

With its New Year's Eve lineup, featuring New Year's Rockin' Eve Celebrates Dick Clark and Dick Cark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2013, ABC finished a dominant #1 on the evening.

From 11:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m., NBC's NEW YEAR'S EVE WITH CARSON DALY (4.9 rating, 11 share in metered-market households) is up 14 percent versus last year's 4.3/10 to deliver a three-year high.

The cast of the North American tour of "Million Dollar Quartet" (MDQ), led by Cody Slaughter as Elvis Presley and Lee Ferris as Carl Perkins; South Korean rapper Psy, whose viral hit song "Gangnam Style" recently earned more than one billion views on YouTube; and Canadian singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen, the artist behind the catchy pop hit song "Call Me Maybe'; among others pumped up more than one million revelers yesterday at the 2013 New Year's Eve Ball Drop in Times Square, a tradition dating back to 1907.

From 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of 'Blake Shelton's Not So Family Christmas' (1.0/3 in adults 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall) finished #1 in the time period on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures, while delivering NBC's biggest overall audience in the slot since October 26.

NBC's 'New Year's Eve With Carson Daly' will ring in 2013 with Grammy Award-winning group Train, performing 'Mermaid' and John Lennon's 'Imagine,' and, Cassadee Pope, the winner of NBC's 'The Voice,' as well as some of the best musical performances from 2012. The two-hour special will air live on Monday, December 31, beginning in primetime from 10-11 p.m. (ET), and continuing from 11:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. (ET) with the first performances of the New Year. 'NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly' will broadcast in high definition from the middle of the world's most famous New Year's Eve destination -- Times Square in New York City.

At 8 p.m. ET, 'A White House Christmas: First Families Remember' (1.6/5 in 18-49, 8.5 million viewers overall) earned NBC's highest 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time period since an NFL telecast on November 22. In a competitive slot versus Fox's 'X Factor' finale, CBS's encore comedies and ABC's 'Charlie Brown' special, 'A White House Christmas' improved on NBC's time-period average from last season by 7 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.5) and by 145 percent in total viewers (8.462 million vs. 3.451 million, L+SD non-sports). In total viewers, 'A White House Christmas: First Families Remember' was competitive with Fox's 'X Factor' finale (8.462 million vs. 8.948 million for 'X Factor' in that hour).
