Nominees for the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® for outstanding performances in 2009 in five film and eight primetime television categories and for the SAG honors for film and television stunt ensembles were announced this morning in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center's Silver Screen Theater in West Hollywood.

The Casting Society of America announced this year's winners at the New York 25th Annual Artios Awards® ceremony held at The Times Center, in the newly built New York Times Building (620 Eighth Ave) and hosted by comedian Janeane Garofalo. (The Los Angeles award ceremony was held simultaneously at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel.

Carrie Preston (True Blood), Jennifer Morrison (House), Elizabeth Reaser (Twilight), Michael Shannon (Little Flower of East Orange), and Patrick Wilson (Little Children, Angels in America, All My Sons) have been added to the roster of presenters at tonight's Casting Society of America New York 25th Annual Artios Awards® ceremony at The Times Center, in the newly built New York Times Building (620 Eighth Avenue). Comedian Janeane Garofalo will host this year's New York reception that will commence at 5:30 p.m. Simultaneously, the Los Angeles award ceremony will be held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel reception will commence at 5:45 p.m. PST.

Bogosian & Emerson Lead Red Bull Theater's Revelation Readings this Season

Red Bull Theater's Revelation Readings series will feature Eric Bogosian, Michael Emerson and more. The series began readings on September 14th and will continue the series through June 14, 2010. The series is meant to rediscover neglected classics, and to develop new plays of heightened language and classical themes.

Damsel was read in the Bridge Theatre Company's new work series, as well as Visiting Hours, which was also a Finalist in the Premiere Stages New Play Festival and a Finalist for the Christopher Wolk Award at the Abingdon Theatre Company. He has had his plays produced at the Samuel Beckett Theatre in New York, the Tamarind Theatre in Los Angeles, Other awards and nominations include The Short Fall (2002 Finalist at the Lark), Love A Nurse (Finalist at the New Harmony Project), and his one-act, feet of clay (Finalist for the Heidemann Award at the Actors' Theatre of Louisville) won the 2004 Samuel French One-Act Competition and is published by Samuel French in its 29th Edition of Festival Plays. His short film, Feet of Clay, directed by True Blood (HBO) actress Carrie Preston, made the rounds of festivals including Miami's Gay and Lesbian Film Festival '07.
