Kentwood Players will hold a COSTUME and VINTAGE CLOTHING YARD SALE today from 8:00am to 3:00pm at the Westchester Playhouse

Psittacus Productions, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit theater and multimedia company, is proud to announce that the critically acclaimed 'CYCLOPS: A ROCK OPERA,' will be presented at the New York Musical Theatre Festival this fall, starting September 29th at the 47th Street Theatre in midtown Manhattan. Featuring an original score of 24 genre-bending songs written by LA-based musicians Jayson Landon Marcus and Benjamin Sherman, 'CYCLOPS' is a fast-paced, rock n' roll musical re-imagining of the only surviving Greek Satyr Play, the story of Odysseus' encounter with the monstrous Cyclops, and his adventures with the loud and crude rock band The Satyrs.

Impro Theatre (Dan O'Connor, Artistic Director) announced a limited engagement of three productions in repertory which will perform at The Carrie Hamilton Theatre at The Pasadena Playhouse. The Pasadena premiere of TENNESSEE WILLIAMS UNSCRIPTED will be joined by the Los Angeles premieres of CHEKHOV UNSCRIPTED and TWILIGHT ZONE UNSCRIPTED. Performances begin on October 7, 2011 and will perform through November 13, 2011, with an official press opening for all three productions on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at The Carrie Hamilton Theatre (39 S. El Molino Avenue, Pasadena).

On Tues. 9/13, stars came together at the Carrie Hamilton Theatre in Pasadena to present CONCERT FOR VICTOR: A BENEFIT. All proceeds from the concert go to 23-year-old Victor Rodriguez and his family. In June 2011, Sacramento newlyweds Victor and Crystal Rodriguez went parasailing on the last day of their honeymoon in the Bahamas. At a height of approximately 200 feet their harness snapped, and they fell into the ocean. Crystal was killed, and Victor suffered severe injuries. Neither of them had health or life insurance. They had only been married 12 days.
