Kentwood Players will hold a COSTUME and VINTAGE CLOTHING YARD SALE today  from 8:00am to 3:00pm at the Westchester Playhouse

Whoever you want to be this Halloween, the Kentwood Players can help you put together a look, whether it's Lady Gaga, "Mad Men" or "The Office." The community theater group will hold a costume and vintage clothing yard sale on Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 8:00am to 3:00pm in front of the Westchester Playhouse, located at 8301 Hindry Avenue in Westchester. Items for sale will include lots of costumes from theatrical productions, new (unused) vintage pieces in all sizes from the 60's, 70's and 80's, plus wearable clothing including dresses, suits, pants, hats, shoes, gloves, wigs and other assorted clothing items - all at very reasonable prices! Many specialty items and miscellaneous odds and ends will also be offered for sale by this community theater group that has been in existence over 60 years. So make plans to shop early for your Halloween costume or holiday vintage outfit this year on Saturday, October 1 at the Westchester Playhouse.

And don't miss these outstanding Kentwood Players productions at the Westchester Playhouse this year: The musical "Candide" with a legendary score by Leonard Bernstein, directed by Catherine Rahm, from September 16 through October 20, and "Hollywood Arms" by Carrie Hamilton and Carol Burnett, directed by Lewis Hauser, from November 11 through December 17. Show times are Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00pm and Sunday afternoons at 2:00pm. Tickets for plays are $18.00 and musicals are $23, with a $2.00 discount for seniors, students, and servicemen.

And for the whole family, don't miss the Kentwood Kids hilarious musical production, directed by Drew Fitzsimmons and Melodie Rivers, "A Grimm Night for Hans Christian Andersen" which tells what happens when Hans Christian Andersen gets an unexpected visit from The Brothers Grimm who seem upset over the matter of stealing story lines. There will be only six performances on three Saturdays, October 8, 15, and 22 at 11:00am and 2:00pm, so mark your calendars now! Tickets are $10 or $35 for a family four-pack.

Please call (310) 645-5156 for reservations for all shows during box office hours, Tuesday through Saturday from 4-7pm. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express accepted.
