Nicolas King returns to the New York scene in a new show "Nicolas King - In Concert!" at Don't Tell Mama's from June 4-7th. Mike Renzi serves as Musical Director and Pianist, leading Chip Jackson on Bass and Ray Marchica on Drums. From Tender ballads (Where Is Love, Blame It On My Youth) to swinging favorites (Dont Mean A Thing, Mr. Paganini) and homages to Cy Coleman and Mel Torme, King brings to life a show well beyond his 19 years of age. King has been performing since age 4. Broadway debut at age 8 in "Beauty & The Beast". Other Broadway credits include Herb Gardner's "A Thousand Clowns", and "Hollywood Arms" by Carrie Hamilton and Carol Burnett, directed by Hal Prince. King has appeared on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno, "The View", "Today", "Liza & David", and over a dozen national and international award-winning TV commercials. Other credits include Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon for 8 consecutive years in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, 2006 tour with Liza Minnelli, "Kenny The Shark" for Discovery Kids, numerous productions for Nickelodeon, and many other appearances including "Cabaret Convention", his own solo shows at "Metropolitan Room" and "Don't Tell Mama's", and appears monthly at IRIDIUM NYC with Terese Genneco and her Little Big Band!... King is winner of "Talent America", 2010 Julie Wilson Award, runner-up in 2010 Noel Coward Cabaret Award.
