Mercer County Community College's (MCCC) Kelsey Theatre will roll out the red carpet with a tribute to Hollywood during its 2009-2010 season set to begin September 4. Among the 16 full-length dramas, comedies and musicals are 'Alice in Wonderland - The Musical,' 'Jekyll & Hyde,' 'Equus,' 'The Producers' and 'My Fair Lady.' The Kelsey Kids Series features professional productions presented by talented traveling troupes.

Richard Kind ('The Tale of the Allergist's Wife' on Broadway) and Michelle Pawk (Tony winner, 'Hollywood Arms') will head the cast of Jeffrey Sweet's play Flyovers, set to receive its New York premiere Off-Broadway beginning previews January 29, 2009 prior to its official press opening night February 2 at the 78th Street Theatre Lab (236 West 78th Street) in Manhattan. Directed by Sandy Shinner, Flyovers is presented in New York by Artistic New Directions, Jeff Landsman and 78th Street Theatre Lab, where Mr. Sweet's acclaimed play Bluff was produced in 2006.

At Pasadena Playhouse's 11th Annual Gala, Pasadena Playhouse Artistic Director Sheldon Epps, new Board Chair Michele Dedeaux Engemann and outgoing Board Chair Kerry McCluggage (the Gala's honoree), announced the theatre's receipt of a $3 million anonymous gift for the Playhouse's Next Stage Campaign.
This first show in the Furious season is the West Coast premiere of the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize winning play, which recently finished an Off-Broadway run.
