Mary Todd Lincoln, the wife of President Abraham Lincoln, is the subject of a new play which premieres this month, marking 150 years since the President's assassination. Ford's Theatre, the site of the crime that took the civil rights legend from us, has commissioned playwright James Still to capture a moment in time which very little is known about.

Sundance Institute announced today the acting company for its 2010 Theatre Lab on Governors Island, which began yesterday June 1 and runs through June 12. Under artisitc direction of Philip Himberg, Producing Artistic Director of the Sundance Instittute Theatre Program, the Lab will provide these projects with guidance in the development of new work for the stage.
