DESPERATE MEASURES Releases New Block of Tickets Through December 30th

Desperate Measures, the hit musical comedy gone wild with music by David Friedman (Listen To My Heart), book and lyrics by Peter Kellogg (Anna Karenina), and directed byBill Castellino (Cagney, Marry Harry) has announced a new block of tickets, now on sale through December 30.

The Off Broadway Alliance has announced that its hugely popular semi-annual ticket promotion 20at20 (www.20at20.com) will return from September 4 to September 23, 2018. 20at20 makes $20 tickets available to most off Broadway shows 20 minutes prior to curtain for 20 days.

Westport Country Playhouse will stage the lavish, large-cast comedy, "A Flea in Her Ear," newly adapted by David Ives from the original by Georges Feydeau, and directed by Mark Lamos, Westport Country Playhouse artistic director.  Fresh from a sold-out run by Delaware's Resident Ensemble Players (REP), a professional theater located at the University of Delaware, the co-production with the REP will run in Westport July 10 - 28.  

U.S. Court of Appeals Rules WHO'S HOLIDAY as Parody; Broadway Run Planned for 2018!

A U.S. Court of Appeals has ruled in favor of playwright Matthew Lombardo last Friday, affirming that his play WHO'S HOLIDAY! is indeed a parody, transformative in nature, and therefore considered fair use. Dr. Seuss Enterprises tried to appeal the lower court's ruling from last September, but the Appellate Court denied their attempt with a ruling that came less than two weeks after it heard oral arguments on June 26.

CINDERELLA Returns to Starlight Theatre

Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, the 2013 Tony® Award-winning Broadway musical from the creators of The King & I and The Sound of Music, will play Starlight Theatre as part of the 2018 Shawnee Mission Health Broadway Series for a limited engagement from June 29-July 1.
