TheatreSouth Presents Florida Premiere Of A CLASS ACT At Pompano Beach Cultural Center

TheatreSouth is proud to bring the compelling legal drama, A Class Act, to the Pompano Beach Cultural Center. Written by Norman Shabel, this play focuses on a trio of lawyers who accuse General Chemical Corporation of polluting water across the country through cancer-causing factory runoff. These attorneys are hoping for a big payoff from the deep pockets of the corporation, while the 'suits' at the latter plan to use blackmail as leverage to pay as little as possible.

THE SEAFARER Starring Matthew Broderick Extends at Irish Rep

Irish Repertory Theatre (Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciaran O'Reilly, Producing Director) announced today an extension for THE SEAFARER, starring two-time Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick (Shining City). THE SEAFARER, written by Conor McPherson (Shining City) and directed by Ciaran O'Reilly (The Emperor Jones), began performances on March 30, 2018 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage, will open on April 18, and will now run through May 24, 2018.

RENT 20th 20th Anniversary Tour Comes To Waterbury's Palace Theater

The Palace Theater today announced that seats in the first two rows of the orchestra section will be available for $20 (plus a $3.00 facility fee), for every performance of their engagement of RENT, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical, April 13 - 15 . These special tickets are available for in-person purchases at the theater's Box Office, 100 East Main Street, the day of each performance only, two hours prior to curtain. These $20 plus fee tickets are available for cash purchases only and are limited to two tickets per person.

TWELVE ANGRY MEN, INTO THE WOODS, and More Among Lineup for Ford's Theatre 2018-19 Season

Ford's Theatre Director Paul R. Tetreault today announced the Ford's Theatre 2018-2019 season will include the political satire "Born Yesterday," directed by Aaron Posner; the classic American drama "Twelve Angry Men," directed by Sheldon Epps; the musical fairytale "Into the Woods," directed by Peter Flynn; and "A Christmas Carol" with Craig Wallace reprising the role of Ebenezer Scrooge.

Ahmanson Rounds Out Season with Matthew Bourne's CINDERELLA and INDECENT

Center Theatre Group announced two more productions for the 2018 - 2019 season at the Ahmanson Theatre. Pulitzer-winning playwright Paula Vogel's deeply moving play with music, 'Indecent,' and the return of Matthew Bourne's highly evocative production of 'Cinderella' complete the 52nd season at the Ahmanson Theatre joining the previously announced 'Ain't Too Proud-The Life and Times of The Temptations,' 'Come From Away,' 'Dear Evan Hansen,' the Lincoln Center Theater production of 'Falsettos' and 'The Play That Goes Wrong.'
