According to the New York Post, Lin-Manuel Miranda's new musical Hamilton, currently in an extended run through April 5 at the Public Theater, might cut its off-Broadway stay short in order to open on Broadway before April 23rd, the Tony Awards cutoff date.

HAMILTON began performances on Tuesday, January 20 and has been extended twice through April 5, with an official press opening on Tuesday, February 17. This world premiere musical features a book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda; is inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow; with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler; and directed byThomas Kail.
