Million Dollar Quartet brings the legendary 1956 recording session to life with an irresistible tale of broken promises, secrets, betrayals and celebrations that is both poignant and funny. The production recreates the era with an incredible score of rock 'n' roll, gospel, R&B and country hits, performed live onstage by world-class actors and musicians. The production features such classic hit songs as: "Blue Suede Shoes," "I Walk the Line," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Who Do You Love?," "Great Balls of Fire," "That's Alright Mama," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Hound Dog," and more.

Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts is about to kick-off another spectacular and diverse lineup of productions for the 2017-2018 season. First up on the boards - the Frank Loesser celebrated musical classic, 'Guys & Dolls' running September 8 - 24th.

Totem Pole Playhouse, Pennsylvania's premiere summer theater located in Caledonia State Park between Gettysburg and Chambersburg, PA, announces the opening night performance of the fourth and final offering in the theatre's four-show subscription series, the Tony Award-winning musical Million Dollar Quartet. Million Dollar Quartet is set on December 4, 1956, when an extraordinary twist of fate brought together Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. ???????Jerry Lee Lewis is one of the all-time greatest singer-songwriters, musicians and pianists. A true American Stylist akin to all-time greats Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers and Al Jolson, he is an architect of great genres such as rock n' roll and rockabilly as well as a commander of country music and the blues.

Million Dollar Quartet, directed by Glenda ManWaring, with music direction by Matt Rexford, and choreography and co-direction by Paige ManWaring, will run July 20 - August 12 (Thurs. - Sat. 8pm & Sun. 3pm) at Centre Stage.

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will release all single tickets for the 2017-18 season for sale on Monday, July 31, including tickets for the 27th annual production of the beloved classic, A CHRISTMAS CAROL and the much- anticipated SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE production, which opens the season on Sept. 2.

Beginning June 29, Endstation Theatre will perform Million Dollar Quartet at Randolph College's Thoresen Theatre. The show will have nine performances, including matinee times.

Lyric Theatre kicks off its summer season with this rollicking concert of golden oldies - the finale medley alone is worth the price of admission, but Lyric's production serves up nearly two hours worth of your favorite songs from Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis. Tried-and-true hits like "Blue Suede Shoes", "Great Balls Of Fire", "Fever", "Hound Dog" and many more each get their moment in the spotlight. These performers are musicians first and foremost, and it shows. Yet none of them fall into the trap of impersonations…each actor brings his character to life with a crisp vitality that keeps the show nimble and appealing.

Ruth Eckerd Hall announces the Adults At Leisure Series for the 2017-18 season, which includes returning favorites Blue Suede Shoes (The Premier Elvis Birthday Bash), 110 Years of Broadway and the Hitmen In Concert as well as several shows making their debut, including 3 Redneck Tenors, The Modern Gentlemen, One Night In Memphis and more.
