Million Dollar Quartet, directed by Glenda ManWaring, with music direction by Matt Rexford, and choreography and co-direction by Paige ManWaring, will run July 20 - August 12 (Thurs. - Sat. 8pm & Sun. 3pm) at Centre Stage.

The Tony Award-winning musical, Million Dollar Quartet is set on December 4, 1956, when an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever.

Million Dollar Quartet brings that legendary December night to life with an irresistible tale of broken promises, secrets, betrayal and celebrations that is both poignant and funny. Relive the era with the smash-hit sensation featuring an incredible score of rock 'n' roll, gospel, R&B and country hits, performed live onstage by incredible actors and musicians. Showcased hit songs include: "Blue Suede Shoes," "Fever," "Walk the Line," "Sixteen Tons," "Who Do You Love?," "Great Balls of Fire," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Hound Dog," and more.

With a cast of all local actors perfected by Director Glenda ManWaring, pristine vocals led by Matt Rexford (also playing Jerry Lee Lewis), and dynamite choreography and co-direction by Paige ManWaring, Million Dollar Quartet will transport you back to 1956 for an evening of the best music of the generation!

In the cast are Johnny Culwell as Carl Perkins, Jordan Hanner as Brother Jay, Joshua Jones as Johnny Cash, Kip Brock as Fluke, TJ Jones as Elvis Presley, Andy Lehman as Sam Phillips, Matt Rexford as Jerry Lee Lewis and Lindsay Polowczuk as Dyanne.

Tickets for Million Dollar Quartet are $35, $30, and $20. Student rush tickets are available for $15 with school ID (based on availability), one ticket per ID. Shows run Thursday through Sunday and all seats are reserved. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at (864) 233-6733 on Tuesdays - Fridays from 2-6 p.m, in person at the Centre Stage Box Office, or online at www.centrestage.org. Handling fees will be applied to all purchases.
