In conjunction with the New York premiere production of The Hidden Sky, Prospect Theater Company will host an afternoon symposium featuring scholars and artists, including the show's creators. The discussion will focus on the relationship between mathematics and music, the historical conflict between science and religion, and other ideas explored in this new musical.

Sometimes, Christmas vacations come at a terribly inconvenient time. For a personal example, I left New York for the holidays just as Prospect Theater Company's newest musical, Evergreen, debuted. As such, I only got to attend the show on the day it closed. This is somewhat of a tragedy, because given the opportunity, I would have returned several times and encouraged the rest of New York to do the same.

The show opens Thursday, Aug. 27, at 7:30 p.m., and will be directed at IU by Emmy Award-winning director/choreographer George Pinney with musical direction by Drama Desk-nominated writer Peter Mills, who wrote the music and lyrics for the show.
