'Central Park Five' Attend THE BULLPEN This Weekend for Post-Show Talk

The Central Park Five, the group of five young black and Latino youths falsely arrested and convicted in 1989 for the brutal beating and rape of a white woman in Central Park, will attend a performance of The Bullpen, the one-man - 18-character comedy written and performed by Joe Assadourian, (now playing through March 21) at The Playroom Theater (151 West 46th Street -- just east of Broadway) it was announced by producer Eric Krebs (in association with The Fortune Society).

A Broadway Christmas Carol, created by Kathy Feininger, returns to MetroStage for the holidays through Dec. 28 for a fifth season . It has been the holiday show for the past four seasons and has become a holiday tradition here at MetroStage. Prior to 2009, it had played to sold out houses at Round House Theatre in Silver Spring, Maryland, for seven consecutive years ending in 2004.

Producing Artistic Director Carolyn Griffin has announced A Broadway Christmas Carol, created by Kathy Feininger, will return to MetroStage for the holidays Nov. 25-Dec. 28 for a fifth season . Just in time to help you laugh off the chaos of the mid-term election.

FSCJ Artist Series to Welcome The Capitol Steps in February 2015

The Capitol Steps, a Washington DC-based comedy troupe that began as a group of Senate Staffers, will present a show based on songs from their current album 'How to Succeed in Congress Without Really Lying' at Jacksonville's Wilson Center for the Arts from Tuesday, February 10th through Sunday, February 15th for eight performances only! Tickets are on sale now through the FSCJ Artist Series, sponsored by Chase, the official presenter of the Jacksonville show.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces The Capitol Steps, a Washington, D.C. based comedy troupe that began as a group of Senate Staffers, will present a show based on songs from their current album 'How to Succeed In Congress Without Really Lying' on Sunday, November 2, 2014, at 4:00 p.m., at the Byham Theater. This event is presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust as part of the Cohen & Grigsby Trust Presents series.
