The Outer Critics Circle (OCC), the official organization of writers on New York theatre for out-of-town, national, and digital news publications, has just announced the winners of the 2026 Outer Critics Circle Awards. We have the full list.

Due to popuar demand, an additional night has been added for KILL THE WHALE at Joe's Pub, which will now play on Sunday, April 14 at 6:00 PM and Monday, April 15 at 7:00 PM.

Kill The Whale: A Musical Odyssey, a rock opera based loosely on Moby-Dick by 2X Jonathan Larson finalist composer Daniel H Emond, will be presented in a concert of selections from the score on Monday October 16th at 9:30 at Chelsea Table + Stage. A recipient of DCA's inaugural CreateNYC Disability Forward Fund, IRT Theater will present six work in progress presentations of the new musical, Stepchild. This fully accessible piece is a radical retelling of Cinderella, seen through the eyes of a young Deaf woman coming of age in a kingdom violently intolerant of difference. All presentations will take place at IRT's Greenwich Village home from May 29- June 2, 2019.
