Thanksgiving might be over, but that doesn't mean that there isn't anything left to be thankful for this year! Earlier this week, BroadwayWorld brought you entries from over 60 of Broadway's biggest stars on what they are counting their blessings for (CLICK HERE to check out the full list), but now we turn the tables and share with you the reasons why we are thankful this holiday season. West End superstar Ramin Karimloo will make his Broadway debut next year as 'Val Jean' in Les Miserables (set to open at the Imperial Theatre on March 23, 2014).

Casting is complete for the leads of the upcoming 2014 Broadway revival of LES MISERABLES, and Cameron Mackintosh announced today that acclaimed Canadian actor Cliff Saunders (The 39 Steps) and Tony Award-nominee Keala Settle (Hands on a Hardbody), will play the Thenardiers in his new production of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical.

Last month, BroadwayWorld announced the official casting of the major roles in Cameron Mackintosh's highly anticipated Broadway revival of Claude-Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil's mega-musical Les Miserables - Ramin Karimloo as Jean Valjean, Will Swenson as Javert, Caissie Levy as Fantine and Nikki M. James as Eponine, with a follow-up this month revealing Andy Mientus as Marius and Charlotte Maltby as Cosette - and, now, just as the first six did for us, so do the final three new stars of the show - Cliff Saunders as Thenardier, Keala Settle as Madame Thenardier and Kyle Scatliffe as Enjolras - recount some of their fondest memories of attending the show as observers, reflect on the prescient themes of Victor Hugo's timeless novel and reveal what specifically drives their passion for the powerful material, as well as look ahead to the new production of the international stage sensation arriving back on Broadway in 2014

Cameron Mackintosh announced today that Andy Mientus, who captured the hearts of TV viewers with his portrayal of Kyle Bishop on the NBC series 'Smash' and talented newcomer Charlotte Maltby will play Marius and Cosette in his acclaimed new production of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece LES MISERABLES, which returns to Broadway beginning Saturday, March 1 at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). Mientus and Maltby join recently announced cast members Ramin Karimloo (Jean Valjean); Will Swenson (Javert); Caissie Levy (Fantine) and Nikki M. James (Eponine) The official opening night for LES MISERABLES is Sunday, March 23. Additional casting, including the roles of Enjolras and the Thenardiers, will be announced in the coming weeks.
