Tony Award winner Phyllis Newman has joined the 9:30pm showing of Feinstein's/54 Below concert series debut of Broadway Bound: The Musicals That Never Came To Broadway on Tuesday, March 21st at Feinstein's/54 Below.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the 4th ANNUAL NEW WORKS FESTIVAL, April 28 - 30. Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple), four-time Grammy Award nominee Josh Groban (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812), Tony Award winner Cady Huffman (The Producers), and Tony nominees Carolee Carmello (Sweeney Todd) and Santino Fontana (Cinderella, TV's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) are joining the spectacular cast of Broadway Backwards, a show celebrating equality, community and love through gender-reversed interpretations of the great songs of musical theatre.

Broadway came out last night for the Fifth Annual Paul Rudd All-Star Bowling Benefit to support SAY: The Stuttering Association for the Young. Ocean State Theatre Company's Producing Artistic Director, Amiee Turner, who won rave reviews for her portrayal of Mama Rose in Gypsy (2015) and last year's concert event Once in Love, with Amiee, will take the stage in a brand new concert entitled,Twice in Love, with Amiee, on Saturday, February 18 at 7:30 pm.

Monday Morning Productions is hosting a binge-a-thon of its award-winning web series 'He's With Me'. Featuring a screening of the entire two-season, 21-episode series, live music and prizes, the event will be held in Queens, NY, where much of the show was shot.

Showman Marti Gould Cummings, known for his inventive blend of drag, comedy and vocal performance, will be making numerous appearances throughout Manhattan for the remainder of the year. Off the heels of his London debut, Marti will resume his weekly Monday evening appearances at midtown's Therapy, welcoming to the stage Broadway star Peter Gallagher and his Broadway songstress daughter on November 28. On December 7, Marti will help to honor George Takei as host to the Emery Award after party on December 7, and attend the 18th Annual Glam Awardson December 11, as a nominee in six categories. Lastly, the year will close with Have Yourself a Very Marti Christmas, Cummings's encore performance at 54 Below, featuring guest artists Lesli Margherita and Matt DeAngelis.

On Monday, November 14, the Theater People podcast welcome's Tony nominee Brandon Uranowitz. He made his Broadway debut in 2011's BABY IT'S YOU. He earned a Tony nomination for his turn as Adam Hochberg in last year's AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, and he can currently be seen in the role of Mendel in William Finn and James Lapine's critically acclaimed revival of FALSETTOS. For the episode, Uranowitz discusses the six months of auditions he went through to win the role of Mendel, how James Lapine was lovingly hard on him during the show's rehearsal process, and shares a memory of accompanying Katie Holmes on a shopping spree during his pre-Broadway days when he worked as a sales associate.
