The 50th Annual Drama Desk Awards Ceremony took place on Sunday, May 22. The big winners of the night were Doubt and The Light in the Piazza, each of whom received 5 awards. Outstanding Musical however, went to Spamalot.

The Manhattan Theatre Club presented its star-studded annual Spring Gala on Monday, May 9.

When Tony Award nominations are announced Tuesday morning at 8:35 a.m. (EDT), Broadway insiders will probably prove they're not as star-struck as many theater-goers, according to the journalists at GoldDerby.com.

Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway production of Donald Margulies' BROOKLYN BOY ends its limited engagement on Sunday, March 27th with the 2:00 PM matinee. The production is playing at the Biltmore Theatre (261 West 47th Street). BROOKLYN BOY will have played 23 previews and 62 performances.

Included in the special: A Streetcar Named Desire, Beauty & The Beast, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, Brooklyn Boy, Brooklyn The Musical, Democracy, Doubt, Good Vibrations, Mamma Mia!, Roundabout Theatre Company, Spamalot, Steel Magnolias, The Lion King and Twelve Angry Men.

Adam Arkin, currently starring in Manhattan Theatre Club's BROOKLYN BOY, will be featured on NY-1's 'OnStage' this weekend, beginning March 5th. 'On Stage' airs Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30-10:00 AM and from 7:30-8:00 PM, as well as Mondays from 9:30-10:00 PM and 12:30-1:00 AM.
