Hosted by comedic genius and 'Glee' star Jane Lynch, the show featured musical performances by Natasha Bedingfield, Lifehouse, and Travie McCoy with special guest Bruno Mars and an all-star red carpet before the award show at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The night concluded with revealing Jessica Posner as the grand prize winner of the $100,000.

Logo's fourth annual 'NewNowNext Awards' returned to Los Angeles last night in a live spectacle brimming with recent-breakthrough celebrities, pop culture phenomena and tomorrow's next big things, keeping Logo at the forefront of what's trending with today's 'in' crowd. Hosted by James Van Der Beek, the show honored Lady Gaga with the esteemed 'Always Next, Forever Now Award' and featured musical performances by Robyn, Panic! at the Disco, Oh Land and Wynter Gordon. According to Deadline.com, Will Sasso has been cast as Curly in the upcoming film based on the world-famous slapstick TV series 'The Three Stooges.' Although casting is expected to officially be completed by the end of the week, Hank Azaria is a main contender to play Moe; James Marsden is being considered to play Larry.

We are hearing HUGE rumblings that the Hollywood Bowl has chosen their summer musical... Drum roll please... HAIRSPRAY! The Hollywood Bowl has been knocking these musicals out of the ballpark these last three years with LES MISERABLES, GUYS & DOLLS and RENT.

IMBD news is reporting that Hairspray 2, a sequel to the 2007 Hairspray film starring Nikki Blonsky, Zac Efron, John Travolta and Michelle Pfieffer, has been canned. Hairspray composer/producer Marc Shaiman was supposed to team with John Waters on the project, which had had a tentative release date of July 2010 in the early stages of it's planning. The story was going to follow Tracy Turnblad (played by Nikki Blonsky in the first installment) and her pals as they navigate the 'next era of music,' the late '60s.

The new Fall Schedule features all-drama lineups on Mondays and Wednesdays, and all comedies on Thursdays, plus unscripted programming into compatible dramas on Tuesdays and Fridays. The high-quality series include new comedies such as 'Outsourced,' Love Bites,' 'Perfect Couples,' 'Friends With Benefits' and 'The Paul Reiser Show.' The new dramas are 'The Cape,' 'Harry's Law,' 'Outlaw,' 'Undercovers,' 'The Event,' 'Chase' and 'Law & Order: Los Angeles.'

NBC has issued pickups for four more new scripted series with dramas 'The Cape,' 'Outlaw,' 'Harry's Law' and the comedy 'Friends With Benefits' - while renewing the action-comedy series 'Chuck' for a fourth season -- all for the 2010-11 season. The announcement was made today by Angela Bromstad, President, Primetime Entertainment, NBC and Universal Media Studios.
